TPT 18 also brings some new features in handling the application lifecycle tool codebeamer. In the new version you can now import requirements from a specific baseline. We see the following use cases for this:
- The colleagues from requirements management can further develop the requirements for later releases and you can test on a fixed state.
- In case of a necessary bugfix based on an old release, you can import the requirements valid at that time via baseline and test the change in a more targeted way.
In addition, we have implemented significantly more options for the test case export from TPT to codebeamer. When importing requirements, TPT can handle more attributes (more configuration options) and with the test results, report files and test data can be exported as attachments to codebeamer.
We hope you like these new features.
If you do not use codebeamer in your project, this is not tragic. With TPT 18 we support all common application lifecycle management solutions and the standardized ReqIf format. If you don’t have requirements in Application Lifecycle Management solutions, but capture them in tables or documents, TPT offers you an import solution for that as well.
For all imported requirements TPT can measure the requirement coverage.
Happy Testing.
