Arduino Hardware-in-the-loop testing with TPT

Did you know that you can build your own Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) from an Arduino? The microcontroller is versatile, inexpensive and easy to use and now you can control your self-made HiL automatically with TPT testing tool.

Some of our customers use it on a regular basis and appreciate its simplicity. And it’s actually rather simple indeed. Once the Arduino is plugged in to your hardware, just connect TPT and control both analogue and digital pins of your Arduino board.

What might sound like a makeshift Hardware-in-the-Loop setup, is, in fact, an omnipotent lightweight HiL that does what it should. With TPT you can run your test cases exactly like you are used to in other development stages.

The electrical wiring of your Arduino HiL is entirely up to your individual preferences, so you can do Hil testing with TPT in (almost) any way you like and, most importantly, do so automatically.

A big advantage of this setup is that you can read and write onto your Arduino HiL analogously and digitally, which opens up a multitude of hardware to be tested with the TPT testing tool.
