In the automotive sector, different IT systems are used to manage the application lifecycle, requirements and tests. Application Lifecycle Management tools establish traceability between requirements and test. The creation of traceability is required, among other things, in the Automotive Spice Standard and ISO 26262, with the overriding goal of being able to trace the dependencies between development artifacts in the product development process as easily as possible. The main use case is the dependency analysis in case of occurring errors or required changes.
With TPT18 you can import existing test cases from IBM Rational Quality Manager (RQM) to TPT and export test cases created in TPT. Traceability continues to be established in the Quality Manager test management solution. This new add-on ensures a consistent data situation and thus saves you manual activities.
With TPT18, all common application lifecycle and requirements management systems can thus be conveniently connected. The feature requires a license and can be purchased separately from us.
