Testing with IPG CarMaker
Testing with IPG CarMaker is fully supported with TPT18. Our incubation feature, first released in TPT 17, has received several updates. We have significantly optimized the interface. You can control, build and modify virtual test scenarios created in CarMaker from TPT.
Extensive update in dealing with equivalence classes with TPT18
An equivalence class is a subset of a value range from outputs or inputs for which a similar behavior of the component or system is assumed during testing. A value is representative for an equivalence class.
Traceability with IBM Rational Quality Manager
With TPT18 you can import existing test cases from IBM Rational Quality Manager (RQM) to TPT and export test cases created in TPT. Traceability continues to be established in the Quality Manager test management solution. This new add-on ensures a consistent data situation and thus saves you manual activities.
Importing Requirements from a codebeamer Baseline into TPT
TPT 18 also brings some new features in handling the application lifecycle tool codebeamer. In the new version you can now import requirements from a specific baseline.
