We would be delighted to show you the great new features of upcoming TPT release (TPT 15). Among the features are:
- Autotester
Spare your time and nerves and enjoy the support of the Autotester while testing in a vehicle. You create the tests in TPT, take your seat in the test vehicle, start the test run in TPT and drive off. The rest is done by the Autotester for you. It recognizes when a test condition is fulfilled, and autonomously executes the tests. When necessary, it indicates what needs to be done by you to fulfill a test condition. After the tests are executed, the Autotester assess the measurement data based on the assessment rules you have specified in TPT. - Global assessment
You would like to know if signal_x is always in the range of 2 to 5 in all test cases of the test execution? You want to make sure that signal_y is at least called once in every test case? Using the new global assessment, this is an easy task. With the global assessment you can comfortably analyze the value range, the average value, the sum of all values, the maximum value and much more for all test cases of a test execution. - Physical units
Dealing with units like kilometer and mile at the same time in a test case is risky. Thanks to the supported SI units in TPT 15 you do not be concerned about this any longer. TPT casts autonomously the entered value of the unit x to the appropriate value of the unit y of the signal. You assign the value 1 to the signal signal_kilometer, and TPT casts the value to the kilometer value of 1.6km. Corrupted calculations caused by the use of units are now a thing of the past. - Polarion ALM
If you are using Polarion ALM for your test management, you will surely be pleased to hear that you can now directly import test cases and requirements to TPT. Thus, instead of exporting test cases, work items, and requirements to an Excel file, and then importing it back to TPT, you only need to enter you login details for Polarion ALM and select the elements you want to import. - ADAS tests
Driver assistant systems are becoming more and more important. To put them so to speak to the acid test, simulated worlds are often required. The most popular software for creating simulated worlds is Virtual Test Drive (VTD) by Vires. It is this software, TPT has now an interface to. This means for you that you can comfortably connect your test cases with the simulated world, set input signals and record the reaction of the system under test.
